Are you planning to work, conduct business, or join a company in Thailand? The Non-Immigrant B Visa is your gateway. With the transition to the E-Visa system, the process is now entirely digital. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you navigate the application smoothly.

The Application Process (Step-by-Step)

Step A: Visit the Official E-Visa Website

Go to the official Thai E-Visa portal :  https://www.thaievisa.go.th

Step B: Create an Account

Register using your email address. You will receive a verification email to activate your account.

Step C: Fill Out the Application

Log in and select “New Application.” Choose the “Non-Immigrant B” category. Fill in your personal details, passport information, and intended length of stay accurately.

2 Proof of Accommodation when apply for E-visa outside of Thailand

Step D: Upload Documents

Upload the digital copies of the documents you prepared in Step 2. Double-check that every file is uploaded to the correct field.

Step E: Submit and Pay

Review your application one last time. Once submitted, you will be directed to the payment gateway. Pay the visa fee using a credit/debit card. Keep your receipt!

Tracking and Approval

Tracking and Approval

  • Track Status: You can log back into the E-Visa portal at any time to see the status of your application (e.g., “Under Process,” “Approved,” or “Pending Additional Documents”).
  • Approval: Once approved, your E-Visa will be sent to your registered email.

Final Step: Print Your E-Visa

Even though it is digital, always print a physical copy of your approved E-Visa to present to the immigration officers at the airport upon arrival in Thailand.
Effective on 1st May 2025all foreigner must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 3 days of arriving in Thailand, by any means of transportation.
 
  • This new digital form replaces the TM.6 paper immigration form.You may complete the TDAC form individually or as a group.

After Arrival in Thailand
Report your residence to Immigration within 24 hours, this is called TM.30.
